Did your child miss out on a place on the LMS Y8 trip to France? We have exciting news, so spread the word - they don’t really have to miss out!

A small group of parents with enhanced DBS checks and lots of experience teaching & leading youth trips are organising an equivalent trip. It will take place in April via coach & ferry to Northern France and with similar costing (depending on sign-up numbers).

How do I sign up?

For this trip to go ahead, we require 20 children to sign up. At this time, we have 9 children already confirmed.

👀Parents will need to secure essential up-to-date GHIC cards for their children (free and easy to do online)

To secure a place, please email Natasha to add your child to the list (she just needs your name and your child’s name - make clear which is which!)

Got Questions?

20 children require 3 adults to accompany them. If you’re interested in being a parent helper, do let us know. We have a French teacher/parent on board. If you have any questions at all, you can email Natasha Seale as above, or email Emma Grimm ([email protected]). Or, you can message either of us: Natasha - 07958721190 or Emma - 07964189929. We will be doing everything a school trip does - e.g. Risk Assessments, DBS checks and Safeguarding, collecting and storing medication…and keeping your children safe and happy! Emma has led a youth trip to climb Snowdon as well as organising multiple school trips as a teacher. Natasha has led Duke of Edinburgh Bronze & Silver expeditions in the Chilterns, the Cotswold and the Peak District, and she teaches music in theatre schools & FE colleges.

As this is NOT a school trip, it does not have to be limited to LMS pupils. That means if, for example, your child has a friend who is home-schooled, or a keen sibling they are more than welcome to join us! Please share this page with them.

Finally, if cost is a problem, please reach out to us and we can help. We don’t want anyone to miss out because the cost is too high for their family. Funds are available.
